Casey Kelly*

Professional songwriter Casey Kelly is an NSAI member and Vice President of the Songwriters Guild of America. He has graciously volunteered his time to be our "Adopt-A-Shop Pro."

Casey is an accomplished songwriter (three #1 singles, two Grammy nominations), recording artist, and session musician. He's written for House of Gold Music, Screen Gems, Tightlist Music, Makin' Music, See Strait / Neon Sky Music, and currently writes for HimOwnSelf Music. As an artist, he had releases on the Warner Bros., A & M, Elektra labels.

Many artists have cut Casey's songs including: George Strait, Lorrie Morgan, Blackfoot, Kenny Rogers, Neville Brothers, T G Sheppard, Tanya Tucker, Joe Diffie, and many others.

He's performed with a long list of acts including BB King, Fleetwood Mac, Frank Zappa, Kinks, the Grateful Dead, and many more.

As our Adopt-a-Shop Pro, Casey will visit our workshop occasionally, answer our questions about songwriting and the music business, and critique songs as his time permits.
